Well crap. I just started a cycling blog and picked Lanterne Rouge for my title. Now I see you already have it. Oh well, I’ll change it to something else.

How about flamme rouge, the flag that indicates 1 km to go?

Great write-up Paul, I’m reliving every painful minute of the middle section of the ride. Keep the stats coming – I won’t even begin to tell you what my everage h.r. was after 3 and a bit weeks off the bike!
